An eye witness to the Zalambessa’s horrific massacre of Tigrayans committed by the Ethiopian and Eritrean soldiers tells the story. She says “The soldiers barged into the house of one of the victims and started killing five of her children. Finally, they left her [the mother] alive so that she suffers her loss forever.”
