Millete Birhanemaskel is a former journalist of 10 years. She worked for several newspapers in Colorado, California and Tennessee. She spent one week in Sudan interviewing Tigrayan refugees. More than 60,000 have fled to Sudan since The Ethiopian government launched war on Tigray on Nov. 3, 2020. Communication from Tigray has been blocked ever since.
